Planned Giving It enables your Parish to estimate annual income and to plan spending. The Parish operates a Gift-Aid scheme, so that Parishioner’s offerings are made tax efficient, giving the parish the benefit of an annual tax rebate. Any Parishioner who pays income tax may enter into a Gift-Aid with the Parish. The Tax Inspector does not make any enquiries because someone enters into a Gift-Aid. An individual's tax position does not change in any way. No additional expense is involved for the individual Parishioner. The arrangement is confidential and whatever you give is a private matter between the Parish Gift-Aid Organiser and the Parishioner. For easier administration, it is preferred that payments are made by bank Standing Order. Alternatively, specially numbered envelopes are available, for those wishing to pay in cash on a weekly basis, at the offertory collection. If you do not pay income tax you can, if you wish, still give regular amounts in a planned way. Envelopes can be provided for those who would like to use this method. Contacts |
